Here is a glance of what Northlake Controls can offer you in the world of chemical delivery systems, mixers, VMB’S, lift stations, software and controls, and custom plastic and stainless fabrication.
Northlake is housed in a 10,000 sqft manufacturing facility located in Bonham TX. Our facility has CDA, DI water, and Industrial drains allowing our customers to visit and run their machines just as they would if they were installed in the FAB. This gives our customers a chance to review functionality and software prior to shipment.
Northlake writes all of our own PLC, Touch Screen and SCADA software in house. All systems are assembled in a 2500 sqft clean room that is isolated from our machining center.
Northlake is equipped with a machine shop that includes a 4x8 CNC and a 5x10 CNC router table used for plastics only.
This router is used to fabricate our standard line of chemical delivery systems, custom delivery systems, VMB’S, T-Boxes, tank lids and flanges. With the exception of roto-molding we can fabricate pretty much anything out of plastic.

If you have an ACAD or Solid Works file, Northlake can fabricate it and or automate it for you. If you do not have a drawing, Northlake can draw it up for you.
Northlake manufactures a variety of standard chemical delivery, mixers and VMB’S. All CDU’S are PLC and controlled by touch screen. They are all Ethernet ready for SCADA and CSS networking. All of our systems offer user adjustable parameter menus to make the system flexible to the FAB. All alarm and instrumentation tag list are provided for House SCADA. If you do not have a in house SCADA programmer, Northlake can provide that service as well.

Standard CDU offerings:
MINIFLOW:
This series was designed for applications where small footprints are required. Sometimes you just need a pump in a box. Pump systems deliver 3LPM, 13LPM, 50LPM and 96 LPM. These systems can run via pump or pressure/vacuum (PVV).
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
FULLFLOW:
This series is a dual pneumatic pump system utilizing either Trebor M50 or Trebor 960 pumps. One pump transfers chemical from the drum / tote to a day tank, while the other delivers to the FAB. Each pump can perform the function of the other making this system fully redundant.

MASTERFLOW:
This series offers a single Trebor pneumatic drum/tote transfer pump and a single Levitronix BPS 2000 delivery pump for pressure and flow critical applications. This system does offer some level of redundancy in that the transfer pump can take over the function of the Levitronix pump in the event of failure.

INNAFLOW:
This is our most powerful CDU series to date. It was designed for pressure and flow critical applications, utilizing dual Levitronix BPS 2000 pumps for delivery and a single Trebor M50 pump to transfer chemical from the drum/tote to a day tank. This system is fully redundant.

FULLFLOW MDU:
This series is considered life support for the chemical delivery system world. It was designed as a mobile dispense system. In the event a stationary dispense system is down hard, simply wheel the FULLFLOW MDU up to the down unit, plumb it in and turn it on. As shown below, in many cases the customers took off the wheels, installed feet and just used it as a stationary CDM. The MDU below utilizes dual 10’ Filters and Trebor 960 pumps that deliver 96LPM. These systems have small footprints and do just about everything a larger more expensive system will do.

Chemical Booster Stations:
Levitronix booster pump, system senses when line pressure is low and ramps up the booster pump to maintain line pressure and volume.

High Volume Pressurized Dispense Tanks:
These fiberglass wrapped HDPE tanks deliver pressurized chemical at 70 PSI.

INTELLIMIX Chemical Mixer:
This is a unique mixing system in that it mixes based on volumetric injections being measured by an analog level sensor located inside the mix tank. The contents of the tank are recirculated through an RFI or conductivity probe using a Levitronix pump. Once the mix is verified good, it is transferred to a day tank.
The simplicity of the system is far superior to an inline blender, a load cell or scale blender and repeatability and accuracy of this system is extreme precision. Trending is built into the system and tags are given to capture all system data at House SCADA. These systems are built as just a mixing system or as a full mixing and chemical delivery system.

DSP Mixer:
This system is used to mix H2S04, H202, HF and DI Water. It verifies the mix via a conductivity probe and then cools it down via heat exchanger. This is an all in one mixer and chemical delivery system.

Valve Manifold Box – T-Box:

Auto Switching Filter Cabinet:
These cabinets are typically used on slurry systems to detect when one of two filters begin to clog up. When the system detects a pressure delta across the primary filter it automatically switches over to the secondary filter and then alerts the operators the filter needs to be cleaned / replaced.

Retrofits:
Northlake is unique in that we will retrofit equipment and controls systems that most of competition will not even look at. Mostly because they are good at few standardized things but won’t invest the time into 1-off without trying to charge the customer the same or more as just buying a new piece of equipment.
Northlake has performed hundreds of retrofits over the last 20 years. Our integrators understand how systems processes are supposed to work within the semiconductor world. Over the years Northlake has perfected methods of performing these retrofits so they are justifiable in cost. We typically save the customer 50-70% retrofitting a CDM with a new control system versus the customer buying a new system, ripping out and disposing of the old system, facility cost to install and then qualification. Let’s face it! Valves, fittings, and pumps have not changed that much over the last 20 years, but the controls have. Northlake can teach you how to re-use what you currently have in place, get it up to a high industry standard, especially in data collection, and save you a ton of money over buying new.
Why does Northlake build new equipment? Fabs change and sometimes they need to add new equipment for new process requirements. Northlake builds new equipment so that the controls across the new and used equipment are on the same platform, allowing new systems to easily integrate easily to the overall system, you only need to deal with one system integrator, and it decreases your level of stocking for spare parts.
Northlake performs retrofits on the following equipment:
FSI MDL-500, MDL-1000, MDL-5000 and Chemblend ACSP 2200 mixers,4500’s Air Liquid 1510 series, 1530 series, P4400, P6300, Gas Cabinets ChemWest Slurry delivery systems.
